About StyleBuddy Weddings, a Wedding Styling & Shopping Service
StyleBuddy Weddings is the dedicated wedding styling and wedding shopping service from StyleBuddy. We plan and shop wedding wardrobes for brides, grooms and their families - outfit direction for each function, budget planning, market and designer shortlists, shopping days and fitting guidance. We work in person in Indian cities and remotely over video for couples living elsewhere. We do not run the wedding itself; we handle what everyone wears.
What we actually do
Wardrobe decisions, from first shortlist to final fitting
Most wedding shopping goes wrong in the same few places: the outfits are bought in the wrong order, the jewellery is chosen after the lehenga is already stitched, the family ends up in clashing colours, and alterations get squeezed into the last fortnight. Our work is to take those decisions in a sensible sequence and put a date against each one.
A typical engagement starts with a consultation about the functions, the venues, who is being dressed and what the wardrobe budget is. From there we build the look plan - silhouettes, palettes, fabrics by season - then a shortlist of stores, markets and designers worth your time, then the shopping itself, either with a stylist alongside you or over video. Fittings and alterations are tracked to the wedding date rather than left to chance.
We are not a wedding planner, a photographer or a makeup studio, and we do not sell outfits - everything is bought by you, directly from the store or designer. StyleBuddy works on everyday personal styling, wardrobe and grooming; this arm is the wedding side of it.
How we work
Four things that shape every project
Tradition-specific
We style to the ceremony, not to a generic template - what a Sikh Anand Karaj, a Bengali Gaye Holud, a Tamil muhurtham or a Nikah actually asks of the wardrobe. There are 14 tradition guides on this site.
The whole family
Parents, siblings and the wedding party are planned alongside the couple, so the photographs hold together instead of six separate colour stories arriving on the day.
Market-level knowledge
Where to buy what, city by city - and where not to bother. We publish city shopping pages for 29 Indian cities.
In person or remote
Shopping days with a stylist beside you, or the whole plan run over video calls and shared boards for couples abroad or in another city.
